Hello Molly Fashion Photoshoot

Hi DDC Readers,

I want to share with you some amazing moments that I captured on Thanksgiving day. I did a Fashion photoshoot for Julie Nguyen with some of the beautiful dresses she bought from Hello Molly Fashion. Although the sun was harsh, we managed to get some pretty good shots, check them out!

Hi all,

Today I did my very first fashion photoshoot, it was a blast! I love fashion, and I am fascinated by the nice colors we had today. My model Julie, was fun to work with. She was very helpful and an easy going person. Here is a preview photo from today's session, I can't wait to show you the rest.

Meet Daisy

Hi all,

Today I would like to formally introduce myself ! My name is Daisy and I go by "Daze". I am 23 years, born and raised in San Diego California ! :D I am a happy and hyper person, it is rare when you don't see me smiling or laughing. One of my favorite things to do other than take photos, is EAT! I am a skinny girl with a HUGE appetite. :) My boyfriends' name is Carlos and he is also my assistant in photography! He enjoys helping me with my photo sessions and I love it because together we make a great team!I also have a second assistant and her name is Laura. She is my creative side, always looking to get creative with my sessions, I am extremely thankful for them! I love photography for many reasons, one of them being 'what better way to explain to others what you just experienced than to show them through your images!' I would love to travel someday for photoshoots, and in order for that to happen, I have to work really hard to be the best I can be! :D Something I go by everyday to reach my goals is "Why not lead your dreams instead of following them?" I will be posting a photo with my amazing team soon. :)

Traveling for Photoshoots

Hi All,

Many people have asked me if I would travel out of state for photoshoots and my answer is YES! I am a person who LOVES to travel and try new things all of the time. There are many locations that I would love to visit. If I could, I would visit the whole world just to get to know different cultures and people. One of my main places to cross off my checklist to do photoshoots at is Japan! I have seen so many breath taking photos and videos of friends and family who have visited Japan. I know that my lens, my boyfriend and I would enjoy Japan very much that we would probably want to stay. There's other places that I would love to visit as well like Los Cabos, Cancun, Puerto Rico, Spain, Paris, China, Hawaii and the list goes on! I can't wait until I get the opportunity to travel and take my lens with me so I can show you all how beautiful the world is.

How my Photography Journey Began

Everyone has their own story of how they began doing what they love. Whether that is, playing a sport, crafting, working out, photography and so forth. I would have never thought that I would ever be a photographer! I have a younger brother who is a photographer. When he was starting out, I was one of his models that he would practice his work on. Like most girls, I was flattered that I could help model for him, I love pictures! One day, out of curiosity, I grabbed his camera while he showed me the photos that he took of me. I started messing around with the settings on the camera, although, I had no idea what I was doing. As I was looking at the photos, he asked me “What other poses do you want to do?”. I realized that he had no idea how to pose people yet. From that day forward, he asked me to accompany him to his photo sessions and help pose his clients. I enjoyed helping him and seeing his clients leave happy with the results that I fell in love with photography! Now that I am also a part- time photographer, my brother and I help each other out with upcoming photoshoots. We are always brainstorming ideas to improve our photos.I did not go to school to learn photography, as much as I wanted to, I was too busy with my full-time job.I have learned what I know now, through watching my brother, watching videos on you tube and most importantly, going out and taking photos every single day!🙂
